Priorities: What is most important aspect of your wedding? Pick your top two priorities and write them here.  For instance; food and music are the most popular choices. Perhaps for you, the décor and photography are most important. For some, the honeymoon takes top precedence. Whatever it is, select a maximum of two priorities now.

My Priorities are

Good. As you research and book your location and vendors, your budget will constantly evolve. If you spend more money on hair and makeup, you will need to spend less on something else, such as favors. It’s always a bit of a compromise to keep the budget from exploding, unless money is no object for you.

Avoid “Might As Well” Disease. Many brides and grooms on a budget blow it by contracting what we call "might as well" disease. They say "we're already spending money on nice linens so we ‘might as well’ go for the chair covers”. Or "that one is only $5 more than the other one so we ‘might as well’ go for the one we love”. Yes and No. Our advice is always the same. Prioritize what is important to you. Two years from now, will you be kicking yourself for spending an extra $10,000 that could have gone toward a down payment on a house? Or will you wish you had spent the extra money on the flowers? Your wedding is something you'll remember forever but couples on a budget should also remember that it's about love, not caviar.
